Thomas Francis Prendergast
Corporal, U.S. Marine Corps. Awarded for actions in the Philippines.

Predergast was born in Waterford, Ireland, on April 2, 1871, and joined the Marine Corps from Boston in May 1893.
Prendergast was one of three Marines attached to the Eighth Army Corps taking part in jungle fighting against the insurgent forces of Emilio Aguinaldo. He was awarded the Medal for actions over several days, March 25, 27, 29 & April 5, 1899. He died April 26, 1913, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Citation: For distinguished conduct in the presence of the enemy in battle while with the Eighth Army Corps, 25, 27, 29 March, and 5 April 1899.
