Medal of Honor Recipients Arrive in Two Weeks

With only two weeks before this year’s Congressional Medal of Honor Convention starts, we are very excited to share some of this year’s biggest events!

Autograph Signing

Looking to learn from some of the United States’ bravest men? Have a book written by a Medal of Honor recipient that you would like signed? How about military memorabilia? Then look no further than our signing event at the Westin hotel in Annapolis, where recipients will gather to speak with and sign items for all attendees. Free tickets are limited for this event, so sign up at https://cohmautographsession.eventbrite.com/ .

Formal Parade of Brigade of Midshipmen

The Midshipmen will march on Friday, September 14, in a visual display of discipline, respect and honor for the United States Navy. Honors will be bestowed upon the Medal of Honor recipients in attendance.

This event is closed to sponsors and recipients. Visitors may enter through Gate 3 (recommended) or Gate 1 and will be required to show a picture ID.  All bags are subject to search. Vehicles without a Department of Defense driver or passenger are not permitted to drive onto academy grounds. Visitors are encouraged to park at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5) and ride the circulator bus to the academy.  Vehicles with handicapped placards or license plates may enter through Gates 1 or 8. Navy Football Game

For their final event in Annapolis, Medal of Honor recipients will join the Navy Midshipmen on a Saturday morning to celebrate American values and patriotism. Navy will be playing the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in their quest to make their seventh bowl game in a row. Tickets can be found at https://bit.ly/2N5eOy8 .

We hope you can find time to speak with some of our country’s greatest heroes at these events and enjoy your time in Annapolis!
